Chernobyl

The plan was brilliant. To build a city where everything works great. The city, which with its splendor and prosperity, shines in the eyes of the West and America. USSR´s paradise in the Cold War´s time. And the biggest nuclear power plant in the whole Soviet Union. Everything changed on April 26, 1986. Since then, it has been the place of the world´s largest nuclear disaster. A city of ghosts, increased radiation and many secrets. Due to the prevailing war, Chernobyl is absolutely inaccessible and unfortunately it is not known when this situation will change. Keep this in mind as you browse through the photos.

Her name is not Ludmila, but she looks at the human stories left here with the same sadness.
